Just discovered Rick Leong's work and I am smitten. The Concordia University Graduate (like yours truly!) got his first break after the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, purchased a piece from his graduation thesis showcase. Since then, the Victoria, B.C. native, has been featured in a plethora of cool art spots all over the map. His work explores the landscape and plays on the unexpected, as in, what the viewer perceives. If you are in Montreal, you can catch him at Parisian Laundry, all through October.
