Face Time

Whilst I am relaxing in Maine, I thought I would share with y'all my morning facial beauty routine (I will do the eyes beauty routine in another post!). It ain't much -definetely -but I love reading reviews about makeup and so if I can inspire anyone to try a product, ill be happy! I would love to hear your recommendation too! Here goes:

Start with this. So great. Keeps you makeup in place and won't clog your pores. If you have acne-prone skin like yours truly, get the LIGHT formula.

Dior Forever Compact Flawless Protection Fusion Wear Makeup SPF 25. Well, this is a mouthfull! I have recently started using this and I love it. I love everything Dior. People often ask me if there is a difference between pharmacy brands (like Covergirl, Maybelline, etc.) and "higher-end" brands. And my answer is always: it depends. To me, there is. Don't get me wrong, I buy Maybelline and Covergirl. I buy their lipsticks and their eyeshadows. But for me, because my skin is so difficult, nothing beats the texture and the smoothness of these big brand names. So my advise is, if you can invest, do it (i am very lucky to have a beautician mom who can offer me discounts to some extend.) Anyways...this product is great. Good coverage-perfect for summer actually - doesnt feel caky and let's my skin breathes.

Dior. Again. A really fantastic concealer. I apply it with a small soft eyeshadow brush. Covers great without making me look like a racoon.

DiorSkin Forever Wear-Extending Invisible Retouch Power. I swear this is not a sponsored post. My mom actually got this for me (it was a tester from her cosmetic counter). Since i have weird olive skin that is really difficult to match with any color, I add this darker powder on top of my foundation to match my skin tone more closely. This wears so well. You don't feel it on.

Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Light Tan. This is so natural. I contour my face with it. And i'm not orange so extra brownie points.

Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder in Maui. I brush this on my cheekbones. Gives me a very gorgeous, natural flush. Score!

What is your morning beauty routine? Although this looks like a lot, it actually only takes me about 10 minutes to do my eyes and face in the am! xox
