One of my favorite stores, Aritzia, has just released their Fall 10 collection. Swoon. This will surely justify a road trip to Ottawa. Even though I am completely broke.

1. Dying for this cheetah-printed scarf.
2. As close to my personal style as you can get. Chic simplicity.
3. Downtown cool. Heart the camel stripes.
4. A little too grunge for my taste, but: 1. Love the vest. 2. A dream catcher pendant!!!!!
5. Any shirt/vest with native american art on it must be purchased.

Just read about this amazing project on Lake Jane. For all my artists friends out there. This is for you. You buy a blank sketchbook. You draw and doodle in it. You send it back to the Sketchbook Project. Your book tours the US's finest museums and art gallery. Every time someone looks at your book, you get notified (via a bar code located inside the sketchbook.) And you will be forever archived at The Brooklyn Art Library. I so wish I could draw.

I've been wanting to decorate my room for a while. Laziness is to blame for my state of inertia when it comes to sprucing up my home. That and the fact that I would eventually-sooner rather than later-love to get my own place. As it is, my room walls are bare, with the exception of one Buddha wall sticker purchased from the Dollar Store and one vintage vinyl CD cover art of the Never on Sunday Soundtrack. So when I saw this picture of a bare room with nothing but a dream catcher, it inspired me to go with the flow and embrace the nudity of my walls. And make dream catchers a cool thing, somehow. Saw this pretty one on Etsy...Tempted.

So here is the thing: I get tired of things really easily. Really. This is why I am always on the lookout for new clothes. Always. And why I never seem to be happy with my hair color. I have really been feeling the two-tone look that a bunch of celebrities have been sporting, namely Drew Barrymore shown here at the premiere of her new movie Going the Distance and Rachel Bilson. What do you guys think?

I do, don't I?

Yes, there was no hesitation there. What a privilege to attend the wedding of my friends Don & Mel this week-end. Everything was perfection, from the bride's gown (Vera Wang), to the groom's leather-rimed tux (Dior Homme), to the Church (Notre-Dame Basilica), to the reception, to the food (catered by Simple & Chic) and to my favorite addition of the night: the sweet tables. There was so much love, it was beautiful to be part of such a earnest and touching celebration. I cried a bunch of times but more specifically when the bride's father told of when he would play taxi to drive her and her best friend around to attend numerous Backstreet Boys concerts but that he didn't mind because she was everything to him. Tears. So excited to see the pictures! The event was covered by my friends Daniel + Davina. Had a little too much fun at their brilliantly installed Photobooth too. Namely involving a black board that spelled SEX, giant glasses, water guns and my friend Kim. Perfect night, perfect couple. To love. Cheers.
