Bare face

Image via Just Jared

Wow Eliza Dushku. Wow. First off, congratulations on Rick Fox (yum!). And congratulations on your face! Girl looks amazing without makeup! No blemishes, no flaws. I am absolutely face-jealous.

I want to steal her style

Giorgia is a star on Garance Doré's website. Her style is so timeless and classic, like a lot of Italian women are. I want her style. Please.

Let's play

In loving memory

Of Louisa Raymond (1906-2010). The sweetest woman I knew, the wisest, the most beautiful. Her face was like this amazing map to a life that was full of joy, hardships and pain. Her memory was crisp and it was so amazing to hear her stories from yesteryears  (spanning over a century). My grandma had the biggest appetite, not only for food (she could eat anyone under the table) but for life itself. Otherwise, I doubt she would have made it through 104 years of life. She will be dearly missed. From her, I get my face, my big butt and my life. Je t'aime nanan. xo

Just breathe

Image via Aubrey Road

My posts have been quite far and few these days. I miss writing for myself and for the people that read me (whoever your are; thank you!!). But not only, is it Christmas and mad crazy at work, but my sweet and dear grandma, who is 104, is also at the hospital on her death bed. Being 104, it is very hard for me to cry about her life, as she has lived a fuller life than I will probably ever know. But, still it is very hard as she was and still is, eternal in my mind. I just hope that she goes peacefully and without pain, as she deserves it! I have a few days off coming on the horizon so hopefully, I will be going back to my nerdy, blog-obsessed days soon. xo

Lily's hair

I want Lily's hair (and fiancé, while we're at it). xo

Jane Eyre

I am a big cheeseball. Big. I rejoice in stories of impossible romance and love set in a time where it seems, romance still mattered. Most people want to shoot themselves upon reading Jane Austen but I love it. It gives me hope that somewhere, somehow, Mr. Darcy awaits. So I am thrilled to see Charlotte Brönte eery Jane Eyre come to life. It looks haunting and beautiful. Swoon.

Spring awakening

This is a Sydney girl as seen through the eyes of Garance Doré (one of my idols). This girl has everything that I want for Spring: loose, messy hair, and orange silky trench, oversized glasses, a glow. Me wanty.

Roses

Obsessed with this Lauren Doughty print! So nice!! I went to Ceramic Café this week-end to celebrate my best friend's bday (more on that later) and attempted to reproduce it on my travel cup. Zero success. But I did have a lot of fun. And that's what counts.

Wild America

Ann He is an aspiring photographer hailing from Dallas, Texas. And she is fifteen years old. I am mesmerized by her pictures. The light, the composition. They are amazing! I am humbled when confronted with people's infinite talents. Makes us feel quite insignificant, does it not?

Coaster to Coaster

Loving these polaroid coasters by justnoey. Amazing! Nevermind that they cost $10 a pop! I want.

Scarlett

Red. Strong. Vibrant. Scary (?) color. It can be a little harsh but in moderation, it packs a punch. Yes.

Navajo

I am not a big fan of prints (except stripes) but I am loving the return of the Navajo print. I am not Miley Cirus' biggest fan but I do love her sweater.

Meet me, you're invited

Party. Time. Needed. This weather is making me so depressed, I am incessantly looking for some last minute vacation deals. Boo. Also, have this inexplicable need to party. Hard. Hopefully soon.

Constellation

Obsessed with this tie-dye clutch by Toronto's brand Scout & Catalogue! I want one! These pieces are one-of-a-kind and unfortunately for me, sold out. Also loving this painting untitled "Dark Matter 2" by Kim Manfredi. Completely not related but I thought they were perfect together.

Sea feathers

Did you knew that there was such a thing as sea feathers? I discovered this last night while completely geeking out in front of a nature TV show. Sea feathers are actually coral colonies. Nature works beautifully, don't ya think?

Black & White

I love Charmaine Olivia's prints. They are oddly charming and a bit creepy.

Nostalgia

In love with Yvette Inufio's polaroid photography. The pics have an old Florida quality which I love. What's even better is that they are being sold on Etsy. Yes.

Into the light

All images via Tallow (beautiful swimsuit company from Australia)

I'm a big fan of surf photography. I don't know if it's the beach, the carelessness or the light that emanates from it but every time I stumble across a nice set of photography, it makes me want to carry a board, dress in a navajo sweater, never wash the sea salt off my hair and wear no makeup. I want this. Give me light, please.

All striped up

Images via Shop Bop.

Holy snowstorm! Anticipating summer to the max, especially with this striped Rebecca Minkoff clutch. So French, so adorable. I would wear this with everything.

Dsquared

The Canadian brand is always a great source of inspiration for me. Dying for the oversized sunglasses seen on the SS11 runway. xo

Under my thumb

An oldie but a classy. Reminds me of a great concert with my daddy. xo

Write it up

I would put these decal by Shanna Murray everywhere if I could but more specifically on a black board. So nice!
