Is this Earth?

Take a look at the strange and extra-terrestrial landscapes of little Socotra island, the biggest island of the Socotra Archipelago, located in the Gulf of Aden in the Indian Ocean. The Archipelago is part of the Republic of Yemen. Due to its isolated nature, one third of its plant life are found nowhere else on the planet. In 2008, it was recognized by Unesco as a world natural heritage site. Which I get to escape there one of these days.
