Happy Sunday! What are you up to my darlings? I know, it's Sunday but as I foresee a very busy week and as I have been very inspired this week-end, decided to follow my instincts and write a little. Once a journalist, always a journalist. So...these boots. I want them. They are vintage. They are perfect. And I hate (ok, no, not really) Rachel Bilson for having found them in the vintage mecca that is Los Angeles. Also, seeing as she foots a size 5, might have increased her chances of finding such a gem. Here's my stance on fur. I like it. I find it visually very appealing. But, if I have to wear fur, I will go towards recycled aka vintage finds. There is a great Montreal designer named Mariouche who started her own brand of recycled fur. She transforms vintage coats into tuques, capes, ear muffs, anything. Take a look at her offerings here.  That is not to say that I am completely against leather or fur altogether. I do own one leather jacket and two leather purses purchased brand new. But I do have about 5 leather purses/clutches preowned. To me, it's small actions that amount to big things in the end. And believe you me, if I had money, I would buy everything from the animal-friendly Stella McCartney. Everything.
