I am quite a classicist myself when it comes to dressing myself. I don't like too many patterns because, quite, honestly, I get over it, pretty quickly. I admire people who have the ability to go bold in their fashion choices. I quite enjoy the miss matched dress by Marc Jacobs worn by Leighton Meester at the Nashville premiere of Country Song. There's a lot going on here: crochet top, one-shoulder, gold foiled corset as a slip, sheer macrame-type skirt with silky appliqués. Yet, it all comes together. Somehow.
