So yesterday i turned 27. Twenty fucking seven. And...it was great. I feel great. In fact, i feel happier than i have in a long long time. I have been showered with love and it felt so good. I remember birthdays where i was alone, cleaning my fridge or just watching TV. And it made me realize that A) you really do create your own happiness-it's all in your perspective - and B) things do get better, even when you feel they ever wont. I spent the week-end eating out, enjoying my friends' company and yesterday-picnicking in the sweltering heat and yes, playing Twister. I have amazing friends and i am so grateful. It was truly perfect. xox
