Friendship

Having girlfriends is so important. I don't have a lot myself but the ones I have are good. They are enough. I am not very quick in friendships. It's hard for me to open up but when i do, i am fiercely loyal. My friends and I have grown so much individually in our friendship. I wonder what the next few years will hold. If, despite children and spouses and career, we will still be close. I sincerely hope so. My dad always says that you have to work at friendship the same way you have to do at relationships. He's so right. And further, I think that lovers may come and go, fortunes may be built and destroyed overnight but friendships, the good kind, lasts forever. xox
