Whilst researching a 100% naturally-made beauty product line called Tata Harper (second image from top), I discovered that the celeb-loved brand is actually made very close to where I live, in Middlebury, Vermont. One of the things I love about Montreal is its closeness to pretty much everything. You drive one-hour north, you find yourself in the beautiful Laurentians; two-hours west, you're in Ottawa, one-hour east you're either in Vermont or New York. I love going to the States and Vermont is no exception. But like many of my peers, I usually don't venture pass Burlington. But just a few minutes from there lies Middlebury, a dead-ringer for Austria, me thinks. I guess the point of this long winded-diatribe is to go explore. Because you might not have the money right now to cross the pond. But almost in your very backyard, you may find extraordinary vistas. I'll send you a postcard. xox
