Kiss Kiss

Is a kiss just a kiss? In our society -myself including - there tends to be a banalization of the kiss. In truth, a kiss feels less intimate than say - a sexual relationship or oral sex. But is it? I am not talking about a peck on the lips here. I'm taking about a deep, passionate kiss -with tongues. Kissing feels good. Kissing is both comforting and the promise of something deeper. It can be tender; it can be passionate. I feel like nowadays, a kiss doesn't mean much. It is not given sparingly. Or given to a lucky few. People kiss all the times for different reasons. They kiss out of lust, out of love, out of boredom, out of habit, out of comfort, out of despair. But when does it become more? Sometimes, I wish kissing meant more. I wish kissing meant love, meant a deep attachment, meant coming home. Some days, i would like to stop kissing a few and kiss only one. At least for a while. I hope this day comes. xox
