Fifty

I have joined the bandwagon. I have started reading Fifty Shades of Grey. And...it is very consuming. I skipped through the pages until the end in a few hours. So high five to EL James for that. But, and there's a big but, it.is.so.bad. I mean, the writing really is horrendous. And the editing? I am an editor and i noticed at least a dozen mistakes. Also, it is literally an Harlequin novel. An S&M Harlequin novel but one nonetheless. The sex scenes are very juicy though and they constitute about 70% of the novel. And...it is very raw and kind of exciting. I can see why it's the suburban crack right now. I may even read the other two volumes. After all, i've always been a big Harlequin fan. wink. xox
