6 years

I recently read somewhere that it is important to take stock of what you have accomplished, done, not done, etc. once in a while. To keep some perspective. To appreciate where you're at and where your going. I've been trying to do this all day. And it really is fantastic. It's a wake-up call both encouraging and motivating. Instead of thinking: shit, i've only done that or I haven't accomplished this or that, think about what you have done. And see this opportunity as a way to give yourself goals. And look forward to the future. So go ahead, think about what you've done both professionally and personally in the last 6 years.  xox

In the last 6 years I have:

-Graduated university
-Fallen in love with a boy i thought was meant for me. Now he is about to marry someone else and the certitude that we would end up together is no longer.
-Experience a deep depression with countless panic attacks and crippling anxiety. Overcame all of it.
-Lived through and survived my parents divorce and my father's alcoholism.
-Traveled to France, Spain, Morocco and countless destinations in the Carribean. Saw Vegas for the first time and also was lucky enough to visit Florida almost every year.
-Worked in the fashion industry, in the pharmaceutical industry and now in the communications industry.
-Started this wonderful blog and experienced so much joy because of it.
-Meet some fantastic people and forged real friendships
-Harbored the project to start my own event planning company
-Decided i want to write a book and headline a movie one day
-Been an extra in some fantastic movies including a big Hollywood production.
-Suffered, loved, lost, gained and hoped :)

If you ever wish to get a recap of some of my adventures, highs and lows and more, here's a small list below:
