Sun inspired

If you're like me you often have the beach, surfing and sun-kissed skin on your mind. But if you are also like me and don't live close to a beach, this can be quite depressing.

Here's a list of movies to fill that void or at least, make you dream (top three via Instyle Magazine)

-Gidget (1959). A cute movie except that Gidget's voice is really annoying. But I can admire the brillant special effects (for the time) and Gidget's fortitude.
-Point Break (1991). A 90's movie, what's not to love?
-Blue Crush (2002). Forever a favorite. Super inspirational when i want to get back into shape. And the soundtrack is insane
-Fool's Gold (2008). A really bad movie even if Donald Sutherland is in it. But oh the vistas! And the chemistry between Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson. And miss Hudson rocks a sun glow and a much admired Tiffany's palm tree necklace like no other.
-Holiday in the Sun (2001). Please don't judge me. Yes it's an Olsen twins movie. And yes the script is so so bad. But, you have the sun, the beach, Megan Fox post-surgery and super lip gloss usage.
-Dirty Dancing Havana Nights (2004). Ok so this is the last one on my list since my credibility is dwindling by the second but please. You have Cuba, you have 50's silhouette and you have muy caliente dancing. So good.
